HELLO BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE & HELLO FRIDAY!
Sorry I didn’t mean to shout but I’m just so excited to be back!
What a crazy few weeks it has been and yet if I’m truly honest there hasn’t been all THAT much going on. Just the usual keeping kids entertained, Christmas, New Years, road trips and shopping……… always shopping!
My last blog post covered what I would like to achieve for the New Year and two weeks into 2015 my goals haven’t changed apart from adding in regular exercise and eating more healthily……. I think that means the delicious pancakes I made yesterday morning may have to go!
Lets break down (real quick) the last two weeks. New Years was uneventful! We ventured out of the house hoping for fireworks (literally) and realised too late that where we were wasn’t where we needed to be! Cue driving home and deciding what dvd to watch once we got there! Exciting hey, in bed reading by 11pm. Party Animal.
A rather quiet week at home followed. I busily cleaned, sorted and packed away all our Christmas decorations while hubby sorted out the shed and cleaned the oven for me!
Then we left ridiculously hot Perth for Margaret River for a week! Ahhhhhh so good to be away from our four walls! There is a post coming soon on all things holiday related, where we went and what we saw but suffice to say it was a pretty fantastic trip!
So that brings me to now. This week I’ve been busily catching up on housework and washing (yawn!) back to school supplies, plotting and planning new ideas for the blog, dentist-ing and shopping for cool stuff to re-do Mister 11’s bedroom!
Here’s a funny story. In all my infinite wisdom I decided that this year I would try to not buy as many new items for my wardrobe and really look at new ways to re-invent what I already have…….. that idea lasted about 24 hours. I now have three new pieces that I can’t wait to show you! Woops……
I am off to am ok start however as I have been wearing quite a few items from my wardrobe in different ways. Thanks to the Fox in Flats Style Challenge during December there have been some old and new favourites getting a reprise!
Here are some of the most ‘liked’ outfits from the last few weeks over on Instagram. If your not following along over there or Facebook be sure to look me up so you don’t miss any fun or great shopping finds that I come across!

And there you have it,
Nothing brand new except my striped red shoes!
I can’t wait to see how many more outfits I can put together without buying anything new, well except those few items I’ve already bought! Hehehe
Have a wonderful weekend everyone, it’s great to be back!
PS: I just want to mention how awesome it was over the festive season to hear from two lovely readers with news of craft projects they had made after reading the blog! Thanks so much for sharing your work with me Natasha who made the Pom Pom Tree and Beth from The Exercise Hitlist who made the Reindeer Milk Bottles with her kids. So happy you got crafty!!
