Week Two – Long Line Vests feat. Katies Fashion

Week Two – Long Line Vests

Good morning Tuesday!

I hope you all had a lovely weekend celebrating Mothers Day with the special mumma in your life!

I’m talking long line vests today. There is a lot of this style coming through for winter especially in grey. For today’s post I’m wearing the Katies Fashion shawl collar vest $89.95. The good news is, I have word from Katies this piece is being replenished in stores and online next week so make sure you keep an eye out as it sells like hotcakes!! Below I’ve included links to similar styles I have found.

I think this particular style of vest is a great piece to have in your wardrobe as it can be easily styled to suit day or night wear.

Here is my first look…

A  simple striped t-shirt is a must have piece for your wardrobe. To create a chic casual look like this, wear a vest and stripes with ripped boyfriend jeans, pants and of course lace-up’s!

Look number two…

Because I like to get as much wear as possible out of my clothes you may notice I’m wearing the lovely Ally fashion knit top {$29.99} from my first post with Paper Scissors black pants {$19.95} and funky clutch (also from Paper Scissors). Add a pair of comfy plimsolls like these from Millers fashion and you have another complete outfit! When it gets cooler pop a long sleeve top under the knit.

Prop’s to hubby for keeping his old school Bollé sunnies all these years!

This last look would be great for a night out…

I’ve gone for a black pencil skirt, black short sleeve tee, statement ‘Lacey’ heels from Novo shoes and striped clutch. We have been having warm weather in Perth but when it does get colder I would add a long sleeve top, tights, ankle boots and a pop of colour with a bright bag or necklace.

Check out those shoes! {$49.95 from Novo}

Creating looks with your clothes shouldn’t make you want to tear your hair out!!

Make your wardrobe work for you…
